Siciliano Indigeno Horses

The Siciliano Indigeno is a breed of horse native to the island of Sicily, Italy. It is believed to have been developed through the intermixing of Oriental and African horses, with the African horses making the greatest contribution to the breed. Spanish and Norman horses are also said to have influenced the formation of the breed. The Siciliano Indigeno is known for its beauty, agility, and oriental stamp, but it is not considered a pure and distinct breed.
